Foster's in Europe (Part 13): Rialto Bridge
Time for another Foster's in Europe fanart, inspired by a fanfic of all things :-)
"So, uh..." Mac asked shyly, "what in Europe did you wanna see the most?"
"Venice," Frankie replied. "It's an architectural masterpiece."
"I kinda wanted to see the Leaning Tower," Mac added.
"And now we're having pizza too hot for us. Three for three on Italy." Mac laughed, nodding at Frankie's wry observation.

While "Mac and the Big Apple" is probably not the Foster's vacation fic some of us might have preferred, it still works as a palate-cleanser to the episode that inspired it :-) This fanfic was started literally the day after the original episode aired, and the first chapter tackles how Frankie and Mac would realistically react to the events of the episode, and even though the fic only got a few chapters in before it was abandoned (as heartwarming as it is, I suspect that fans would rather read a vacation fanfic featuring the imaginary friends), the first chapter at least works as a standalone :-) To wit, Mac and Frankie hash out their anger over missing the trip (and in Mac's case, being wrongly blamed for it), and the two humans decide to head to a pizza parlor, where they decide to talk about various things, like where they had wanted to go. I've already made the Leaning Tower, and inspired by the fic, I decided to figure out how I'd go about doing a Venice fanart, and landed on "gondola ride near the Rialto" :-) And while I was at it, I decided to also sneak in an Easter Egg of a certain animated show from Italy :-)
