After a night in Hue, we sailed the Perfume River (Song Huong, to the locals). Well, the boat didn't have sails, but whatev.

(NEW) The Trang Thien Bridge, as seen from our cruise

We got off the boat at Thien Mu Pagoda. Picture time!

(NEW) Big flag at Hue

After that, we went inside Hue's royal palace.

Another picture of Hue's royal palace. The palace has a museum as well.

(NEW) The museum

(NEW) Beach near a seafood restaurant after leaving Hue

(New pictures, but with original 2007 commentary) Okay, so after we left Hue, we passed through the Hai Van tunnel. It's very long. 6km long. The whole "hold your breath and make a wish" adage doesn't apply here (our guide did mention it though). After getting out of the tunnel, we spent the night in Hoi An after passing through Danang.

(NEW) Marble sculptures at a store in Danang

(NEW) The Thu Bon river (I'm guessing)

(NEW) View from our hotel balcony in Hoi An. I remember we were asked to leave our stuff in our room before having dinner and a night out in Hoi An, which explains why we don't have many pictures from there...
