The Amazing Race: Episode 5
So this week, we head to India (a favorite of TAR fans!)...
- ...but not before they use HALF THE SHOW on airport shenanigans. However, it should be noted during the airport shenanigans, some of the teams stopped over at the now-defunct Don Muang airport. Although the show itself didn't note it, the local commentary (carried on the 2nd soundtrack where I live) noted something like, "You probably miss Don Muang, so here it is. These images are now a thing of the past."
- Also more from the airport shenanigans: I don't know whether to love or hate the Chos' fake cell phone. It was funny, but it got Peter to try reserving tickets with an actual phone.
- Nice curry comment, Rob. But meh on making fun of the southern accent, whoever that was.
- Okay, we're in India. And MAN do they have to fast forward through the actual leg! Highlights: Sarah being pissy to Peter, and the Indian driver's licence Roadblock. Indian accents are funny, especially in driving class :D :D HONK HONK!
- Meh for no longer giving product-placement for prizes, but YAY! for no more NEL mugging.
- OTOH, David and Mary were so far behind the others when they got to the Roadblock, they'll probably be hoping for a bunch next week...
