3x17: In the Snake's Lair / The Omega Mission
Bloom comes back to Alfea and after finding her dorm deserted, heads to FG and Griz's room:
Unedited:
Bloom: "Well, I, I'm just back from Pyros, and I find the whole school deserted. What's going on?" Griz tells Bloom: "Well it is early. All the students are still sound asleep" (showing Bloom a clock) Bloom: "Not all. Anyway I just wanted to thank you for your advice. Everything on Pyros was" FG: "I know. I heard all about it. Maya, the chief elder of the island of dragons is an old friend of mine. She kept me well informed of the progress you were making."

Bloom: "I just got back from Pyros, and Digit said that everyone went to Omega to look for Tecna?" 4K cuts out Griz showing Bloom the clock and the rest of Bloom's initial comment, picking up on FG saying: "We'll talk about that in a minute. First, let me congratulate you on what you achieved on Pyros. Maya is a friend and kept me informed of your progress." 4K also cuts out a flashback to the Timmy scenes from 3x16 while Bloom is asking about going to look for Tecna.
While Sky and Bloom are talking, we have a bit of a role reversal:

Sky: "I know but, I did hurt you, and I'm so sorry."
Bloom: "Mmm..."
As we pan to the right to put Sky off the screen: "It was all Diaspro's doing I guess..."

Sky: "I know, but I hurt you Bloom, and that's the last thing I would ever want to do. It was under Diaspro's control."
Underline is where Sky was originally not talking, and 4K has apparently looped the animation of Sky talking over the original.
We cut to the Omega dimension where the Specialists have been captured.
Unedited: There is a prison guard standing near the Specialists.
Edited: 4K has erased the guard.
Bloom and Sky find Tecna, and they talk. Here's an example of a minor edit:

Tecna: "I even managed to turn this ice into nutritious food" Bloom: "Probably better than the food in Alfea's cafeteria :-D" Tecna: "The planet is full of technowaste, so I made a weapon and a transmitter." Sky: "And that's how you were able to make contact with Timmy's space probe. Good job Tecna!"

Tecna: "I figured out how to turn ice into food that's better than Alfea's cafeteria :-)" Bloom: "Good one :-) Remind me to tell that to the rest of the girls :-D" 4K cuts out Tecna talking about making a weapon and transmitter, so instead Sky says: "This is one of the harshest realms there is, and you managed to survive without any trouble at all."
Tecna transforms to her Enchantix to take on a convict, and we have a minor cut:
Unedited: We see her popping out of a large purple flower, which quickly disappears. I suspect it's a reference to the Royal Patraine transformation from Magical Doremi (available in better-quality video than when I originally posted this)
Edited: After spending more time showing the Enchantix transformation (it happens again later in the ep), we do not see the flower.
Tecna gets captured by another convict:
Unedited: We see the prisoner brandish what seems to be a rather small knife.
Edited: The prisoner's knife has a larger and glowing blade in the 4K edition.
We have two instances of 4K removing the fairy dust bottle opening animation: Musa healing Bloom, then the girls giving the ice snake a dusting. In the former case, 4K!Bloom explicitly says that she can't transform earlier in the ep, and when she transforms after Musa's healing, she says "Musa's fairy dust must have fixed whatever was keeping me from transforming" :-\
Rearrangement plus cut as Bloom and Sky leave Omega with the others:
Unedited: We see the ice snake chasing some prisoners, before cutting to Bloom telling Sky "Alright, let's get out of here." We see a panning shot of the two RF transports showing Bloom kneeling to the ground, before showing her putting a little bit of the ice from Omega into her fairy dust bottle ("I'm going to take some of this place with me"), then boarding the transport. This is then followed by a scene where Bloom explains: "Every world has its balance, and so in the Omega Dimension it is the white snake who maintains the order." Stella: "You know, I have no idea what Magix's balance is, and frankly I don't really care. I just can't wait to get back there."
Edited: We see the ice snake chasing some prisoners, before cutting to the a panning shot of the RF transports. Before the bit where Bloom kneels, the shot cuts to her telling Sky "What do you say we head for home?" before boarding the transport. The scene immediately then cuts to Alfea.
Back at the dorm in Alfea, Bloom and Flora talk:

Bloom: "I'd like to spend some time with Sky. We could go to Sudi Lake together" Flora: "Oh, I can already hear the soundtrack (hums "Here Comes the Bride"). Bloom: "Flora, stop it. (lightly smothers Flora with a pillow) And what about Helia?" Flora: "Well..." (Cut to outside so we don't hear her answer)

(smothers Flora) It is! Unless, do you really think??" Flora: "I do... (Cut to outside here, but we still hear Flora) Well, 'I do' is actually what you might be saying..."

mightymarty2: I prefer the unedited version. It has better dialog when talking about the food and also I don't see the point of removing the guard
Abby: Half of these changes just seem so unnecessary. I don't see the point in changing Sky's apology.
