chrismactaggart's post on Bloom, Sky, and Diaspro, and let me say this (since Chris certainly didn't)...
I like Bloom/Sky better than Sky/Diaspro, even if both Chris and Lori made good points. What _I'd_ like to see though? Bloom, Sky, and Di having a nice long talk about Sky switching over to Bloom. I'm still miffed that 2x14 didn't oblige us with that. I don't want to have to settle for Di's rant to Flo... (and that's still more than what American viewers got)
So, a new episode of Winx aired yesterday in the states. I read Lori's review at Toon Zone Forums, and her review of Icy's sub-optimal fighting against Bloom (Nutshell: why didn't she use her new powers against Bloom? [Especially since the last time she had new powers and faced Bloom, she actually used them?]) is reminiscent of her complaint in the S1 finale about the lack of her "gimme" moment: a battle between Bloom's dragon and Icy's dragon. I mean, Icy froze a whole school with it, yet couldn't be bothered to use it against Bloom and her dragon? In both cases it boils down to: "Why did they introduce it if she wasn't going to use it against the Winx girls?" (Lori, please forgive me for lifting the quote straight from your review.)
