Spidersnaps: A grainy Vibe
Apr. 6th, 2026 10:12 pmI already tried the low-priced Vibe 400 full-frame previously, so let's see how it does half-frame in the Kodak H35, as shot from last December to March :-) In short, rather grainy, especially indoors and lower-light conditions (and sometimes, even higher-light conditions :-\)

Camera and film

Newly built skytrain from the subway window

Christmas tree at Mitrtown

Mourning mural

Mourning ribbons

Uni entrance, looking rather overexposed

Cheerleading practice

Music at Samyan "Milk Garden" at New Year's

Wallflower

Holidays decor at Villa Aree

New year wishes from the university executives

Mourning display at the uni logo sign

New Year flowers near Sound of the Northeast

Pedestrian overpass with a sign for the Sea Games and Para Asean Games (though the sign itself has been mostly blotted out by overexposure)

Festival at Faculty of Communication Arts

Leafless tree branches

Radio station antenna barely visible under the grain

Corner of uni

Auction at Mitrtown's monthly Bae Brand second-hand market

Congress river view with bridge construction

Cheerleading practice again, this time at the stadium

Office of the Registrar

Football at the uni stadium

Uni stadium from nearby sports complex

Mourning display at the Faculty of Education

Cat looking up a tree (plus crop)

Underexposed basketball

Butterbear mascot event at Central Ladphrao

Ladphrao traffic

Local road in the early morning, with election posters affixed to power poles (themselves a month or so from "retirement") rendered less visible due to the light reflecting off reflective traffic signs

Barely visible indoor rowing contest

Newly constructed bridge from the other side of the river

Mourning display at the sports complex

Pickleball

Children's running event

More visible election posters near uni

Sunset near Thaphra station

Petanque at the Rajamangala Institute Games

Badminton at the Rajamangala Institute Games

Sound of the Northeast, now minus New Year's flowers

Rajamangala Institute Games basketball

Cosmetics event at One Bangkok (more pictures from the event)

These next three are from a Suphan Buri trip, all from Song Pi Nong district: Old wooden house not only housing a museum celebrating a royal visit to Song Pi Nong district, but also a boutique hotel and a coffee shop (!)

Canal

Banharn-Jaemsai clock tower (named for a former prime minister from Suphan Buri)

Back home: bird perched on the balcony

Chinese New Year at Central Ladphrao

Thonburi Rama (off-center once again :-\) with 22's Hair Studio

A hopping good time at two different Friends Screenings for Pixar's Hoppers at Central World's cinema (though not so much the exposure, except for the giant beaver plushie)

To borrow a quote from another one of my favorite Pixar movies: Let's play some (field) hockey :-)

Bunny statues at uni

Ending the roll with a student ballroom dancing contest
