Layla (wary): Guys is that who I think it is?
Tecna (looking all angry): Yes! It's the witches of Cloud Tower!
(during above line) Mirta: Lucy!
Digit (bringing up the guest list): They're on the guest list...
(Cut to Mirta)
Mirta: Hi!
(Mirta is bewildered that Lucy doesn't have even the slightest of reaction)
(Cut to Musa and Bloom)
Musa: You think they'll be trouble?
Bloom: It's okay, the Trix aren't with them anymore.
(The Winx walk in)
[And now, the American version.]

Layla (wary): Hey guys. (Cut to Layla) There are a group of witches coming this way...
Tecna (looking all angry): I bet they're trying to crash the party!

(Cut to Mirta: Mirta is bewildered that Lucy doesn't have even the slightest of reaction)
Musa: I heard they invited the witches as a goodwill gesture (cut to Musa and Bloom) 'cause we all fought together last year...
Bloom: That's cool, as long as they don't cause any trouble.
(The Winx walk in)
[Clip: The tidewalk]
[First, the "original" version.]
(Musa, Layla [with Piff on her head] and Tune are walking in the RF garden, with Musa and Layla holding drinks)
Musa: Do you remember where it goes "ba-da-babba-ba" and then the rhythm of the guitar comes in?
Layla: Right! That's where I was going to go like this!
(Layla dances. Yummy!)
(Cut to Layla grabbing the drink she was holding out of midair)
L: Ta-dah!
(As Musa and Layla giggle, Tune and some woman walk past in opposite directions)
M/L: Huh?
(We cut to her face, and she's wearing glasses kinda like Darcy's. Cut back to Musa)
M: That's strange, that girl looks awfully familiar.
L: What's wrong Musa?
(Cut back to the woman with glasses. Cut to her walking past the two. Musa gasps)
M: But it's Darcy!
Darcy: Curses! (runs past a tree)
M: That's her. C'mon, let's go!
(Musa and Layla throw their drinks over their shoulder, next to an unamused Tune drinking tea)
[Note the lack of dialog from Darcy as she's walking past.
We'll explain later.]
(Two cents: I don't get the whole "That's where I was going to go like this" bit. Layla was supposed to dance and... what?)

Musa: When the music starts, I'll come out and say, "This one goes out to our Red Fountain peeps!"
Layla: That's when I'll come out and do the tidewalk.

L: Whoa! (grabds the drink) Ta-dah!
(As Musa and Layla giggle, Tune and some woman walk past in opposite directions)
Woman: Gag me.
M: Hmm?
(Instead of cutting to her face, we cut to Musa immediately)
M: Hey, that girl sounded just like somebody I know!
L: What's her problem?
(Cut back to show the woman's face. Cut to her walking past the two.)
M: Hey you wait a sec!
Woman: Get lost! (runs past a tree)
M: (while the woman's running past the tree) I think that's Darcy! (Cut to Musa) C'mon, let's get her!
(Musa and Layla throw their drinks over their shoulder, next to an unamused Tune drinking tea)
[Hey, nobody's perfect.
Besides, it's more relevant to Musa and her powers, yes?]
(Two cents: I've always been "meh" about this edit. In the original, Darcy behaves as the smart witch she's always been, but in the latter, it's somewhat relevant to Musa's powers. Hmm...)

Digit: Ah-hah! I win! (laughs as Tecna looks a bit teed at her) You owe me a code processor!
Tecna (leaning against the tree): You could have won without brute force you know!
D: Ah, but it was the most logical way to go about it. You didn't write your program strings fast enough.
T: Okay, fine. Let's check out our software in action.
(Tecna takes out a palmtop from behind her back, and presses a button. A pair of VR goggles materializes around Tecna's eyes. Numbers wipe the scene, Matrix style, down into a virtual world)
T: WHOA.
(Tecna is standing in a virtual city with virtual snow falling. Timmy is by her side. A virtual blob makes contact with her hand, and engulfs her in a suit of REALLY AWESOME virtual armor. She floats into the air. Close up of Tecna's eyes. Timmy and Tecna are both wearing matching virtual armor. Tecna steps out, and makes a flip jump off the virtual building they're standing on. Timmy becomes a beam of light and flies off the building, rematerializing in front of Tecna. The two kiss and spin around, as they continue falling. A flash of light takes us back to the RF garden)
T: Wow. Our program's working great! (she presses a button on the side of the VR goggles, and they dematerialize) Why'd you turn it off Digit?
D: Game over Tecna, time to meet up with the others!
[Take a good look at that kiss.

D: Come on! Just show me the dream you had and we'll talk it through, so that way it stops weirding you out.
T: Alright, but promise you won't make fun of me.
D: I promise.
(Tecna takes out a palmtop from behind her back, and presses a button. After a few beeps, a pair of VR goggles materializes around Tecna's eyes. Numbers wipe the scene, Matrix style, down into a virtual world. DreamTecna is standing in a virtual city with virtual snow falling. T: I dreamt that Timmy and I were alone in this incredible cyberkingdom. Everything felt magical and beautiful.
(Timmy is by DreamTecna's side. A virtual blob makes contact with her hand, and engulfs her in virtual armor.)
DreamTecna: Huh?
T: It was like our true selves were revealed to each other.
(DreamTecna laughs as she floats into the air. Close up of Tecna's eyes.)
T: And all these feelings. It was totally overpowering.
(Timmy and DreamTecna are both wearing matching virtual armor. DreamTecna steps out, and laughs as she makes a flip jump off the virtual building they're standing on. Timmy becomes a beam of light and flies off the building, rematerializing in front of DreamTecna. However, the kiss which originally followed doesn't happen, as per Tecna's v/o)
T: (as Timmy turns into light) And then, just as he was about to kiss me, I woke up. (A flash ends the sequence about 3 seconds earlier than in the original) So now you understand why I've been so uncomfortable around him? (during the line, she presses a button on the side of the VR goggles, and they dematerialize)
D: Would you start acting logically and go find him?
[Yep, looks like they cut out the kiss. Hmm...]

Codatorta: No one can reach the hidden room without coming through here. Alright guards, take up your positions! (the guards ready their weapons)We must protect it at all costs.

Icy (despite having an ice orb in her hand ready): Curses. There are too many of them! (Turns around and runs) But I will be back!
[Fast forward to Icy's next scene]
(A 9-second fly-in shot of LD's castle and hall fades to the throne room, where the Trix are disappointed)
I: We're very sorry master. We weren't able to reach the Codex in time.
LD: That's because you're a bunch of slow-witted fools.
[Huh, Icy, retreating? With Gloomix at her disposal?
Somehow, I just don't buy that.]
(Two cents: Personally, I was expecting LD to be all: "Whattaya mean, you weren't able to reach the Codex in time? You were plenty in time." Icy: "Um, there were guards by the time I reached the room?" LD: "All that power at your disposal, and instead of dealing with the guards and taking the Codex, you run back to ME instead? You're a bunch of slow-witted fools." I dunno... maybe I just like the characters to be more logical. I guess Tecna would be proud.)

Codatorta: If there's an intruder, you can resort to any means necessary. We cannot let them reach the Veritas Chamber!
(The guards ready their weapons. Wide shot of scale room. Over the wide shot...)

(Cut to Icy silently peering around the post)

I (putting away her ice orb) As if I couldn't take these losers! (Turns around and runs)
[Fast forward to Icy's next scene]
(A 9-second fly-in shot of LD's castle and hall. Unlike the silence of the original, we hear the start of a conversation over it)
LD: So how did you like that beast I created? Pretty exciting, huh?
I: You're the man LD, you rock my world, you really do. (as we fade to the throne room) But what I don't get is why you didn't let me take out Saladin and his squad of dweebs!!
LD: What's the fun of destroying them when they most expect it?
[Despite Icy's suck-up (EW!), I find this version more believable.]
(Two cents: Quite a few people don't like Icy's suck-up, but here I'm willing to put up with it if it means a more logical plot.)
[Since we've still got some time left, let's go over some clips from the season finale...]

(Chatta is lugging a huge [for her] cup over to Piff, while Zing, Tune, and Amore fly around)
Chatta: C'mon Piff! You can't have fun if you're asleep!

(The cappucino perks Piff up and makes her extra bouncy)

(Bloom and Sky are still running in when the flash goes off, and Timmy goes "HAH!". The whole photo is covered with Bloom and Sky)

(Sky pokes his head into frame, and so does Blinky. The photo has Blinky looking a bit disoriented)
Tec: Mirta, get over here!
(The camera takes a photo of Bloom and Lucy trying to drag Mirta)

(Bloom and Sky are still running in when the flash goes off, and Timmy goes "HAH!". The whole photo is covered with Bloom and Sky)

(Sky pokes his head into frame, and so does Blinky. The photo has Blinky looking a bit disoriented)
