And put behind a cut for some serious spoilage, because Italy just started the new season, and they've just passed America big time. (ETA: Okay, they're not THAT far ahead, but they'll be done pretty quickly.)

Deonanna put up a new video at her account, and it shows Layla summoning her Enchantix powers.

Now THAT'S what I call a power boost

Meanwhile, winxdreams also put up a lot of new vids. One of them is of Stella transforming into Enchantix.

ETA: Turns out Deonanna also has that clip up as well.

I don't think it's fair to say Italy passed the US "big time." They're a single episode ahead at the moment. They get three new episodes per week. We get one. We start again on the 24th. Episode 8 is scheduled for that morning. Of course, they will finish a long while ahead of the US, but I consider that a good thing. Their season 3 will be over like a flash in the pan and ours will continue on for longer, making the wait between the end of the season and the movie shorter, while Italians have a much longer gap between. (Besides, I could never write three summaries a week. It'd kill me.)

The US got a HUGE honor in being the first and only place to have Season 3 for a long time. Yeah, they fucked it up and made themselves look disorganized, but it's still a damn big honor to show a foreign cartoon before the country of origin does.

But really, it's not a competition. Italy is the origin of Winx. You can't beat that. We can just enjoy what they give us. It's not fair to any country to make it out to be a competition.

I'm reminded of how several episodes of the more recent Nickelodeon cartoons (Kimi-era Rugrats, All Grown Up!, Jimmy Neutron, final season Hey Arnold!, etc.) were aired outside the states long before they aired in the states.

Needless to say, lots of Nick fans grumbled BIG TIME.

That's not all...The second season from a show that was filmed in my state (not LOST, a show on Discovery Kids called Flight 29 Down) didn't air in the USA. Instead, it aired in Sweden and in Australia the 2nd season airing is done!
