A couple months ago, I posted a sketch of the way Musa's sacrifice should have happened. Now, it's in color.

So what exactly is happening here?

The idea is that Darcy just shot a spell at a wingless Galatea to take away her voice, and Musa flies into the path of fire to save her by sacrificing her own voice instead.

Also, I gave Musa her Charmix, because I always thought that not having it at all in S3 was just plain illogical (and lazy on the animators' part).

What's the point of that? I mean, okay, Darcy takes Galatea's voice. So what?

I prefer the fire aspect. It's more dramatic and potentially damaging.
