Out of sequence, a Winx book I bought before we left Porto.

The Homem do Leme statue, right next to the Atlantic Ocean... and a restaurant.

Lunch at the Bar Homem do Leme, with tomato rice, tomatoes, and fried fish.

Some random shopping mall we passed... (okay, it's actually one of the more well-known malls in the Porto area, Norteshopping)

...on the way to the airport. (Look how the 2nd "A" furnishes a flying plane :-) )

World Cup fever in full force even at the airport urinal (!)

Here comes our plane...
(2020 extra thoughts: This Fokker 100, CS-TPF, was already 21 years old at the time, and had an unusual post-Portugalia life in Kazakhstan)

And back to Amsterdam we go.

Same sandwich and cake as before...

We land on Schiphol's newest runway, the Polderbaan, which is so far away from the main terminal that our plane has to taxi across not one (Hoofdweg)...

or two (A5) ...

but three (A4) flyovers, just to get to the terminal. The lengthy taxi time is a bane of frequent flyers into (and out of) Amsterdam, such that this forum for frequent flyers loves to make fun of it.
(2020 extra thoughts: And here's a video of a landing and taxi from a similar angle to these photos, to give you some idea of how long :-))

Out of sequence, another Winx comic book I bought at Schiphol. Mom wasn't so sure about the goodies that came with it, though... Incidentally, the Dutch comic was about twice as expensive as the Portuguese edition (something like 6 Euro to 3 Euro).

Schiphol train station again...

And the train station in Leiden, where we spend our final days in Europe.
