The Amazing Race 10: Episode 4
Oct. 10th, 2006 09:27 amThis week, Vietnam. Again.
- My dad said about Sarah: "See, she has a fake leg, and she still fights more than you do!"
- Blurry, shady taxi drivers. Can't really say I missed you, but it's been a while (since... TAR Classic, with Momily in India, I believe... I don't think that shady Tanzanian cabbie in TAR5 ever got blurred).
- Blurry anyone, really. I don't think they've done this since their last Vietnam visit in TAR3, and then they go and do it in back to back eps. I was thinking, "I'm watching TAR. Not Cops."
- Nice touch with the audio clue, but all that Vietnamese would screw me up (good thinking of getting the cab drivers to listen...)
- Rock climbing. It never gets old! And the *lyns continue to talk about childbirth.
- All the boat rowing started to drag after a while. Eventually, the gays got eliminated.
- And apparently TAR isn't keen on product placed prizes anymore...
- The Amazing Race is getting its own Asian version next month. It is being produced by AXN Asia (which also broadcasts TAR US).
In other news, something was up with Survivor this week. Maybe we got a bad feed over here, but it cut midway through the recap of the previous episode to the opening titles, and when the titles ended, it cut straight to the competitors at the reward challenge waiting for Probst to give the signal. No post-TC talk, no pre-challenge talk, no pre-challenge mail, no rule explanation, just the challenge.
