1x08: A Friendship Sundered / Day of the Rose
So, the Trix want to make Riven have a hoverbike crash, and blame Bloom for it...
Unedited: Icy and Stormy are somewhat not entertained at the idea of Darcy being concerned for Riven. (They then walk off in disgust when Darcy romances him.)
Edited: Icy and Stormy want Darcy to romance Riven as part of the plan. (Unlike in the original, she does this with a spell.)

dreaming_faerie: I like the edits this time around, especially with Icy and Stormy wanting Darcy to romance Riven. It shows how manipulative and strong Darcy's powers are and how sneaky she can be. I think that's awesome.
Quite a while later, I also noted that the 4Kids version has Darcy using a spell to enchant Riven, when in the original she does nothing of the sort, and Riven willingly goes off with Darcy because he thought Bloom was purposely sabotaging him by giving him the faulty helmet. Responses:
insaneladybug: I think I like it better for Darcy to not use a spell on Riven. It's more interesting and intense that way. Using spells is almost always what happens in shows like those, and I like them to do something different for once.
TF: Hmm, I like Darcy both using the spell and not using the spell. I mean, her wiles are "magical," so it makes sense that she uses a spell to make them really effective, but I also like her not using one. Both are fine with me.
