Spidersnaps: Vision 250D, take 2

spiderbraidsAs mentioned in the post from the last roll, I got myself two rolls of Vision 250D, and shot one roll each full-frame and half-frame... There were issues with full-frame, but I had no issues shooting this one in the Kodak H35... Once again, I had issues with overexposed scans from my usual ECN-2 lab (despite it being half as light-sensitive as my usual ISO 400 films), and a little fiddling with Photoshop suggests that they would likely benefit from a rescan, but for now, let's check out the best (and otherwise) of the roll :-)

I started this roll in Pattaya... Shot from my sister's hotel suite, with the hill with the Pattaya City sign just visible

One my nieces having fun with the water gun near a water slide at the swimming pool :-) The real attraction is the water slamming off the roof above the slide after emptying from the big bucket above
A flowering bush near the motorway while returning to Bangkok in the late afternoon
Late afternoon shot of an airplane coming in for a landing at the airport
Kiddie roller-coaster at Dream World
Another one of those pictures that scanned overexposed: View from the Dream World cable cars (theirs were the first in Thailand)

Diptych of the giants at the airport, this time with better lighting

Not sure if white at the end of the roll (top of the picture) is exposure, or the emulsion just flat out coming off (I know I did snap another shot after this one, but there's no trace of it in the scans) (ETA: Just got the strip back from the lab, it was exposure)
