The Amazing Race Asia: Episode 11
Jan. 24th, 2007 01:14 pmBefore I forget... this week was a trip to Dubai.
Highlights, succinctly:
1. Roadblock: Golf. Blah.
2. Best part of Roadblock: Zabrina 6-putting.
3. Yield: Not taken by anyone.
4. Detour: Hack (ice) or Hike (up a hill).
5. Zabrina and Joe Jer: Rueing over physical tasks that cost them a rare lead.
6. Mardy and Marsio: Last, but not out.
7. Andrew and Syeon: First.
8. Pitstop: Nomad camp in a desert... hey, wasn't this in TAR Classic?
As for Treasure Hunters this week:
1. No Genworth-photoshopped clue this week.
2. Browns: You know something is wrong with the team if a team with a player in crutches after falling in a hole AND a team who bled 11 hours (!) on an earlier part of the leg, plus got some takeout from BK while trying to figure out the next clue, both beat you.
3. Speaking of the Browns, I also see the whole comparison to Gus and Hera going on.
4. How COULD the Hanlons take 11 hours to figure out to pour water into a bucket, anyway? Or were they too afraid of the snakes to get close to said bucket?
5. Oooh, bunching! First place arrives at the river at 5:40pm, and although it doesn't look like dusk, Laird arbitrarily cuts them off at 5:30pm.
