The Amazing Race Asia: Episode 12

spiderbraidsThis week, an all-Dubai leg.
1. Detour with camel riding or souvenir camel finding with a metal detector. Yikes, no finding for me! Or anyone for that matter.
2. Next, go to the Dubai version of the London eye, pick a random car, sit a round, get your next clue if it's in that car. SanFran got really unlucky, picking cars that ended up being next to the ones that actually had the clue three times, while Andrew-Syeon got lucky on their first pick, and pretty much had a commanding lead for the rest of the leg, eventually winning a vacation to HK, with an exclusive trip with some racing pit crew.
3. Roadblock: Who's the brains of the team? SanFran correctly guessed that this was eating brains. Camel brains. Yick. M&M quipped "Tastes like Peking duck without the sauce."
4. Next, find some random sheik's house and the clue box there. After that, a trip to Wild Wadi water park, a destination in TAR5. I think they even did the same slide as well.
5. Pitstop, a beach right next to the Burj building (also from TAR5!). JJ and Zabrina were 2nd. SanFran were 3rd, and M&M's were eliminated.
Meanwhile on Treasure Hunters:
1. Grad Students got lucky last leg, but the docs made them quit. So, the Browns are back in. Much to the hate of the Hanlons...
2. Apparently, something about finding bullets with half a clue each. Hmm...
3. Next, get to the Boston Light, with a bunch of rocks scattered into Roman numerals. Bleh.
4. Hanlons making cell-phone interference noises at the Browns :D See 1.
5. Hanlons completely missing the ticket grab :D
6. Browns have the last laugh as they get the Hanlons eliminated. Yawn...
