And now, for something much lighter...

So, I've been looking around places to buy Italian Winx DVDs (like eBay stores and internetbookshop). I'm interested in buying, of course, but my mother isn't exactly too keen on me buying online. Basically, she doesn't trust online dealers. (And yes, I pointed out the whole "vendor's rating" indicator thing they have.) For that matter, my father isn't too keen on them either (I found a site that sold arugula seeds in bulk, but he said he wanted a mail order site... sheesh!).

Anyone care to share their thoughts on online sales?

Overprotective parents around the world don't approve of online sales, no matter how safe they are. (And they are perfectly safe.)

The reason?

They fear both the unknown and change.

It's sad how some people live in a bubble and think that's really living.

Over here, we have a saying for living in a bubble: "frog in a coconut shell" (I kid you not).

When I get my own credit card (technically, mom just made one for me at the beginning of the month, but she's keeping it solely for purchases that require me to be buying them), I'll probably give online sales a chance.
