The Amazing Race All-Stars: Episodes 7-8

Anyways, The Amazing Race ran two episodes last week.
Zanzibar to Poland:
1. Talk about stretchiness: Joe and Bill were so far behind, they checked in at the pit stop like 16-17 hours after first place.
2. Flight hassle! Especially with Joe and Bill (along with Eric and Danielle) missing their connection in Kilimanjaro from the provided tix.
3. There's so much hassle, there's only room to show the Detour: Perfect Angle (some teams pronounced it "Angel") or Perfect Pitch. Former has mannequins getting X-rayed, latter has pianos being tuned.
4. Missing the connection in Kilimanjaro put Guidos and Eric/Danielle so far behind, Dustin and Kandice (earning a trip to the Caribbean) got to start the next leg before those teams even got to Poland. By the time the Guidos checked in for their marked for elimination penalty, the first three teams had already checked out.
Poland:
1. Trip to Auschwitz. Yep, where Hitler killed a lot of people. Uchenna: "We're going to get it before we kill each other" Joyce: "It's gonna happen some day" Not that this is the first time TAR has taken in such a solemn "task" (remembers the Senegal slave house).
2. But before Auschwitz, everyone's on two buses with 4 hours spacing. Good for Guidos, bad for Dustin/Kandice. Bunching much?
3. And if that wasn't enough, here comes the Intersection, making D/K wait for the 4th place team, while Uchenna/Joyce and Danny/Oswald are off to count stair steps for the Fast Forward.
4. Back with the other teams, making and eating sausage. And puking. "Ladies and gentlemen, Miss California!" (BTW, this was a detour choice: the other was making bagels.)
5. Next, heading to Skala (with quite some trouble for Charla/Mirna in getting a cabbie to lead them there). Roadblock is wearing armor and leading a horse. Charla does it for her team. Yeah, go figure.
6. U/J and O/D tied for first (with U/J getting some trip). Meanwhile, the Intersection pretty much rules out any chance of the Guidos not getting eliminated, so, yeah, they're out.
