	(Classroom. Avalon takes flowers that have been put down for him)
Avalon	What a lovely bouquet! I'm not sure I've done anything to deserve this...	What an undeserved gift. My pupils form the realm of Frost were never this kind.
Flora	It's the least we could do after your sweet surprise this morning! :-)	It's totally deserved. You're the coolest teacher at Alfea :-)
	(Pan over to Tecna)
	Tecna thinks: There are thousands of flowers on campus. How did he know how many were missing from the garden?	Avalon: The only reward I seek for my teaching is to see my students blossom.
	(Avalon explains his class. We'll skip to the relevant parts...)
Avalon	Now. Let's start with an easy question. Who was the first ever fairy?	Let's start with a simple question, shall we? Who knows the nature of her powers?
The students	Clariel.	I DO!
Avalon	Do you know that or do you just believe it?... Can you prove it?	The question is, do you know it, or do you just think you do?
Layla	My mother told me and she's never wrong.	Are you saying there's more to us than we know professor?
Avalon	That may be so, but where did your mother learn it from?	Well, do you ever feel that there might be something more?
Layla	I can't really say for sure but everyone knows about Clariel.	Actually, I do sometimes feel like there's a secret part of me.
Avalon	Having everyone believe she's the first fairy is enough to make her so, even though she's not.	Everyone has a self that they know, and a secret inner self just waiting to be discovered.
	(Tecna's face is all, "She's not?", at least it appears to be)	(Shot of Tecna's face has no meaning here)
Avalon	That proves how strong the power of words can be.	That hidden self holds the key to unlocking your power.
Flora	But shouldn't Layla trust her mother?	How do we get to know this hidden self?
Avalon	Sometimes trust is all you have to carry you forward. But to really know the truth is an entirely different experience, not to be taken for granted.	That is something I can teach you to find. But you must first give me your complete trust. You must trust me the same way you trust your very selves.
	(Skip to later. It's the day after Tecna shot her spell at Avalon, and she's demanding an explanation!)
FG	Well perhaps my colleagues will be much obliged to give one!	Alright... let's see what professor Avalon has to say.
Avalon	I use my wings when I need to, when I'm being chased for instance.	There are 10,000 paladins with the same wings I have.
	(The girls are all, "Ohh...")
Avalon	And I knew how many flowers were missing because I was practicing a spell, which enhanced my sense of smell. I'll teach it to you.	And when the realm of Frost was destroyed, it's well documented that I was a visiting professor at a university FOUR REALMS AWAY.
	(Tecna questions the clones, and WizGiz whips out his device that he showed earlier. Skipping...)
Musa	So I guess the prophecy was false.	Well, I guess it looks like we were wrong.
FG	Now tell me, who was the author of this prophetic book?	(15 second cut)
Tecna	It was written by the famous Sirius Facetus, headmistress! (she hears laughter) What's so funny?
FG	Tecna, I don't think you checked your sources. Sirius Facetus was a comedian from two centuries ago.
Flora	(recalling the earlier class with Avalon) The other clue we learned about...	We REALLY messed up this time.
Tecna	(is probably thinking "WHA???" right now) ...The book is famous... Everyone knows of it...	I don't understand! Logic tells me that...
FG	You weren't listening to Avalon's lectures dear. Just because something's well known doesn't make it the truth.	Tecna, as hard as this may be for you to accept, your logic was flawed, and you and your friends
Tecna	(cut to side view of FG's desk)I guess I've truly learned that lesson :-\	(6 second cut to remove side view of FG's desk and make FG's line continuous)
FG	I certainly hope so my dear, and I believe (cut to Tecna) you owe professor Avalon an apology.	owe professor Avalon an apology.

Personally, Tecna being wrong for no reason has never sat well with me (so that makes two of us, Tec), and in the dub, there's no reason that she wouldn't have that prophecy in the back of her mind when dealing with him later. OTOH though, I can imagine 4K thinking, "I just don't see Tecna not checking her sources." Hmm...
