Winx movie tidbits
Dec. 24th, 2007 08:29 amThere will some minor spoilage in this post, but not too much. (And for all I know, a certain community is probably well ahead of me on this...)
So, there's this cammed clip floating around YouTube of Tecna, Layla and Bloom transforming in the movie, and although it's not of the best quality (and apparently is only part of the sequence in question), I can tell you that you will absolutely enjoy Tecna's new transformation, and Layla finally has a liquid-themed transformation. Also, it will be accompanied with a new song, which IMO is more awesome than the TV series one. I'm not going to link to the blurry cammed clip, but rather, a YouTube "vid" with the new transformation song instead:
Potere Di Enchantix
(However, apparently they only transform once in the whole film. Eh???)
As for the question of whether the movie completely closes the book on Winx, I'll have to be vague and answer both yes and no.
And as for box office:
2nd week: #2, $1,591,615 for the weekend, $5,372,374 total
3rd week: #6, $429,313 for the weekend, $5,986,163 total (also, lost over half of its screens, dropping from 523 to 236)
I dunno if a $6m gross is good in Italy, but for comparison, Ratatouille (in its 9th week) has grossed a total of $24,955,321. (At this same point in America, it was about to break $200m, so that would equate to about a $50m gross in America.)
