SpiderBraids' European Vacation: Day 5

In the morning, we went to the Blaak market, which besides Saturday, also meets on Tuesdays. Here's a photo of the bike routes around Rotterdam I took on the way to the market, similar to the one from Kinderdijk.
Also on the way to the market, some guys riding horses. In the middle of the city. Yeah, I don't get it either.
After the market, we spent some time shopping at the V&D department store (sounds contagious, but like C&A, it stands for its founders), and had lunch at their La Place food court. Note the Dutch sandwich in the frontmost tray (mine). (Wikipedia also has a photo of the store.)
We then spent the afternoon in the Lijnbaan shopping area. (This photo is actually from the next day.)
Later that afternoon, it rained heavily while we were buying ourselves some noodle take out for dinner. So yeah, that's pretty much it.
