Our last day in Rotterdam, and here's the Erasmus Bridge, on our way to cruise the river on a Spido river cruise (see sign in foreground).

The Euromast, from our river cruise.

The cruise also took us past Rotterdam's port.

A scene from the port.

In more pleasant views, our cruise also passed the permanently moored Rotterdam cruise ship...

And the Hotel New York (built at the former offices of the Holland-America boatline).

More scenery from the boatride.

Random corner of Rotterdam (Eendrachtsweg) while walking around trying to decide where to have lunch.

We ended up at the Bazar Cafe, with Middle East food. Naan, goat cheese pie, and a steak with fries.

We spent our afternoon shopping around the Lijnbaan again. I already showed a picture of some shops yesterday, so here's a picture of a rather unusual Burger King.

After shopping and a little snacking, time to head to Porto. And look at that rain...

Check-in counters, looking a bit more like a domestic airport than one of the world's major hubs. The Netherlands isn't exactly a big country, so the "domestic" counters serve flights to other EU destinations.

Our plane, and it's a pretty small one compared to the China Airlines one that brought us to the Netherlands. By now, the rain has let up a bit, and it's still quite bright for 8:30pm.

Flying to Porto...

Our in-flight "meal" both ways is a long bun with some meat in it and a small cake.

Landing in Porto at night. Not much to see here.

And (although not from that night) the hotel we're staying at in Porto, the Hotel Fenix.
