Winx Club 30 Day Challenge: Day 1

spiderbraidsIt's been a while since I've used my blog to talk about Winx (Hallowinx summary notwithstanding), but I stumbled across this 30-day challenge on ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tanz_fanatika's VeniVidiDolli tumblr, and decided to take it.
(I will try to keep dub preferences and spoilers for the unaired US episodes out of the discussion.)
Day 1: Favorite Winx
Tecna, of course. Reasons:
1. Main reason is that I've been a computer enthusiast for most of my life (I graduated from computer engineering, and currently work in software development), so the idea of a smart fairy who's into computers tickled my fancy.
2. It also helped that her original fairy outfit stood out amongst the others :-)
3. Also, many things have changed, but some things have remained the same: she's kept her hair short, and she's still the only Winx girl who's into computers.
